The US Open GAYP National Ty was held in Greensboro, NC Aug. 11-15th, 1997
     There was a fine prize fund of almost $8,000.00

There were 40 players; 13 masters, 10 majors and 17 minors. This fine ACF National event was sponsored by Clint Pickard and Billy McClintock at the Howard Johnson Inn-South. Praise belong to these two and to all who worked to make this a great Ty especially to Les Balderson who helped out many ways overseeing about everything. Also, Gene Lindsay did a great job as referee. The first number to the left of the name is position, to the right of the name, the second number is match points and the third number if needed is honor points.
